LANCE HALLAM PROJECT CLOSE TO PIVOTING FROM PROCUREMENT TO PUBLISHING

The Lance Hallam Project team continues to scour the globe for the missing strips needed to reassemble the celebrated Lance Hallam storyline from British artist David Wright's classic comic strip, Carol Day.

Efforts to date have resulted in the team possessing 70 strips, knowing the location of 8 more and still searching for the whereabouts of the final 6.

But, search results to date have unearthed a total of 82 print quality scans, leaving only 2 print quality scans needed to publish Lance Hallam in an artist edition-like format that would allow any collector to consume David Wright's celebrated story in its purest form.

The missing two strips? 137 and 165.

When those are in hand, the team intends to publish the Lance Hallam storyline in its entirety.

So, calling all collectors — if you know the whereabouts of either of those two strips, please reach out to the Lance Hallam team at ckillack@gmail.com!

And we're not just asking for a favor (although we'll take them!) — the collector who leads us to the successful attainment of a high-res scan of CD 137 and/or 165 will receive an original David Wright pencil sketch from his pre-Carol Day career as a commercial illustrator. We've got one pencil sketch for each of CD 137 & 165 - if the same collector leads us to both, he or she will be the lucky owner of two original David Wright sketches.

If you have any ideas, thoughts, leads or anything else that you think would be of value in finding these last two strips, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at ckillack@gmail.com.
