Uncle Richard was the last Carol Day story completed by David Wright.
He was quite ill during the production of this story
and died soon after it was completed.
Due to David Wright's illness, his son Patrick assisted partially with the pencils for the story, particularly on some of the outstanding harbor
scenes, and the panels with Carol in her bikini. Patrick Wright's work is probably best known to US collectors through his short stint on
2 Modesty Blaise stories - Eve and Adam and Brethren of Blaise - in late 1979 and 1980. He is a very fine and sharp cartoonist in his
own right and it was a sad day when his health forced him to give up the pen.

single panel cartoons.
