[Spiros Londos] is the sequel to the previous story, [Uncle Richard]. On the death of her Uncle Richard, Carol inherits the island of Gabriela, and in this story she has to protect it from being taken over by a mobster.

This was the last Carol Day story worked on by David Wright. He completed the first 55 boards before his death, at which point the art was taken over by Kenneth Inns, a noted contemporary British illustrator.

This presentation is not quite the complete story, though it is complete for David Wright’s work. Our last board is #3340, and it appears the story is concluding but is not quite at the end.
